Spring is definitely in the air! I've spent much of the week scouting my favourite photography spots around West and SW London and there are signs of life with magnolias and daffodils blooming everywhere. I have become completely obsessed with what plants and flowers blossom when and where, so I can suggest the perfect location to my clients!

Kew family photography

Yesterday I was at Kew Gardens for a family portrait session with adorable Willa and Laurie. Laurie is two, but oh so grown up, and Willa has hair to make a photographer swoon and a cheeky personality to match. We were blessed with a beautiful spring-like day and Kew is filled with so much variety we were spoilt for choice as to lovely locations for photos. That said, there were two areas which stood out; reeds which were the perfect match for Willa's hair and a hot house filled with the most incredible luminous light. It's a fantastic choice for chilly days where it's nice to have the option for some indoor family photographs (in the warm!), as well as outdoors. Then there is the basement aquarium and playgrounds for the kids too when they need a break from the photography.
