London children's photographer
It's great to get children engaged with the natural environment around them. Whilst my style of outdoor children's photography does not tend to involve too many props, it's lovely to photograph little ones exploring, picking up stones or collecting sticks and leaves. I find that children are always so much more engaged outside than indoors; Elizabeth loved throwing the autumn leaves up in the air and trying to catch them as they fell! I am known for my softly lit, natural children's portraits, full of genuine expression and in organic environments - these photographs are the perfect example of that and all taken in the middle of London! The gorgeous autumn leaves gave a beautifully-toned russet backdrop to the photos, which went so well with Elizabeth's outfit.
What to wear for kid's photographs
Parents often wonder what to dress their children in for photoshoots; the perfect outfits in wintertime include soft textured knits, denim and anything with fur. As you can see with the fluffy bobble hat here, it photographs so well even on cloudy days. The main thing is lots of layers to keep them warm - sneak a thermal layer under there if need be!
