Hampstead Heath is one of my favourite locations in London for pregnancy photography, especially at sunset on a late summer evening, when the sun falls behind the trees and the shadows grow long. It may be September, but the light is golden and pretty and the leaves have yet to change.
London pregnancy photography
Victoria and her husband Felipe are from Brazil and moved to Belgravia in London a couple of years ago. Felipe is a keen photographer himself, but they had fallen in love with my sun-kissed outdoor photography in grassy fields - so that is what we set out to achieve! They were so sweet and romantic; it made for a beautiful maternity session including portraits of Victoria individually and portraits of the two of them. Not every partner is as keen to be in pregnancy photographs, but it's such a special record of the time before baby arrives and changes everything! It will be amazing for them to have these photographs to show their little one in the years to come. Victoria is 36 weeks pregnant here - although has such a petite bump! I generally recommend maternity photography is best between 28-34 weeks as a general rule.
Outdoor maternity portraits
Outdoor portrait photography in organic environments is what I am best known for, particularly my love of beautiful, natural light.
