This feisty 4 year old was so much fun to photograph! Bags of personality (ballet dancer, tom boy and princess rolled into one), and as always with little ones, going through a hundred different expressions every minute. One of the reasons why I love photographing children so much. It's not about having them smile for the camera, but capturing their genuine emotion and character as they explore and interact with you. I have also developed a love of flower crowns recently... and needless to say, this golden soft California light is just delicious!
