Sometimes all my clients want is some sweet, simple baby photos of their little one, which is exactly what we did here! Baby Baltasar lives in Fulham with his parents and was 8 months old at the time of his photoshoot on Wimbledon Common.

So many clients talk about how the early days and weeks can pass in a blur of sleepless nights and simply trying to survive! Researching family photographers and booking a professional baby photoshoot is often the very last thing on their minds. However, as babies start to sit and crawl around 7 months onwards, a photoshoot can be a wonderful way to record this stage of development - as well as a reminder that you did survive! I love 8 month old Baltasar's toothy little smile and of course those gorgeous baby blue eyes matching his cashmere cardigan.

These simple, natural outdoor portraits reflect my style of family photography perfectly. There's no messing about with fancy props, just a natural location and soft lighting - and genuine, authentic emotion (after all, there is no telling an 8 month old to "smile!"). I tend to arrange my baby photoshoots for fairly early in their day, when little ones tend to be at their happiest!
