Meet Amy, a therapeutic, restorative and Hatha yoga instructor based in North London. Amy commissioned me to take some beautiful, natural, yoga photographs for use in her flourishing yoga business. Amy was particularly keen on creating yoga portraits in nature, connecting to healing and growth. We chose Hampstead Heath shortly after sunrise, which was the perfect tranquil location for her yoga photo shoot.

My style of yoga photography is very soft, natural and beautifully-lit. I collaborate with my clients to design my photography around their style of yoga and energy. It's important that the images reflect their practice - as you can see from the collection of photographs below, not every photoshoot needs to involve inversions, or advanced poses! Sometimes simple meditative poses can be just as powerful in conveying a sense of who that person is.
