Summer seems to finally be here! Long glorious warm hazy evenings, perfect for soft luminous light and flattering portraits. This is my favourite time of year for those gorgeously sun-kissed family and children’s photographs that are my quintessential style.
London pregnancy photography
I am best known for my beautiful light-filled outdoor pregnancy photography that is both incredibly natural and flattering. It’s the holy grail of portrait photography! To achieve it I will gently pose and show my clients how best to stand so I can photograph them from their best angle, and the angles that show off their baby bump perfectly. I strive for understated elegance in all my maternity portrait photography, no matter if you are in a long flowing gown, or pretty summer dress.
Natural family portraiture
It is lovely to combine a maternity session with a family photoshoot, particularly in those last few months and weeks before baby arrives to rock the older sibling’s world! As always there is a mix in my sessions of some more posed (but still very natural) portraits, with some beautifully candid moments too, with a child exploring, or interacting with a parent. Parents will often ask me where they should look - and what they should do - I will suggest where to stand so you are in the best light and then suggest natural interactions with your child. You can see in some of the images below how delightful the results can be!
Kids photography
I love to photograph children exploring the natural environment, collecting stones, or searching for wildflowers. They love to play hide and seek in the long grass, and here we had even more fun with some bubbles which catch the light so beautifully.
