It’s always lovely to be commissioned for portrait photography “just because”. Often the first professional photographs we have of ourselves as adults are when we get married, or have a baby. I think it’s wonderful to have portraits of ourselves at any age, to celebrate our lives as they are, and to look back on in years to come when perhaps we do have a few more wrinkles!
Modern portrait photography
Ana has just finished her law degree in London and wanted some beautiful, natural portraits to remember her time in the city and to celebrate that achievement. We chose Holland Park in Kensington for her session on a cool, dusky evening, which was the perfect setting for her pastel lemon dress. My style is very soft and feminine and I always seek to make the most of the natural light to create beautiful, flattering images. My sessions are always relaxed and unhurried, with as much direction as you need! Here's what Ana had to say about her experience:
