This has to be one of the dreamiest, magical portrait sessions in a while! I love that little Ellie is in vintage lace with a flower in her hair and all she wants to do is scrabble in the dirt and pick up stones. She's at that age where she is just fascinated with the world around her and I think we definitely captured some of that in these photos. She is just amazingly feisty and independent even at age one and a half! Her mum is such a talented baby and children's photographer too and it was so special to get her in front of the camera for once with her own little girl.
This is going to be one of my last Cayman shoots because I'm headed to London for the month of May, and from there California for a little while; I'm hoping for lots of wildflowers, blossom, meadows full of grasses and woodlands to create more beautiful children's portraits like these. London mummies, I'd love to photograph your little ones!
