I'm Heather and I am a maternity and family photographer based in Kensington & Chelsea, Notting Hill and Holland Park, West London. My beautiful baby, child and family portraits are light-filled and full of natural, genuine expression; I would be absolutely thrilled to photograph your family for you.

Outdoor family photoshoots in Kensington

Holland Park, Notting Hill and Kensington Gardens are all right on my doorstep and some of my favourite locations in West London. Holland Park is closest to home and one of my most loved London parks for family portraits - and I've been known to photograph the odd newborn baby here too! It is so quiet and peaceful in the mornings, with just a handful of people practising yoga or tai chi in the Kyoto Gardens and only the noisy peacocks to disturb anyone! I love the formal gardens which work wonderfully well to keep exploring toddlers or crawling tiny tots within a certain range! In summer these gardens are full of flowers and ornamental vegetables, bordered by beds of lavender, which make a gorgeous backdrop for photographs. In high summer when the sun can be too bright, I use the silver birch leaves to help diffuse the light. And I nearly forgot to mention the lovely rose gardens, just outside the Orangery. Everything is so close together, it is even easy to navigate with babies and buggies.
